I create because art gives me the freedom to explore ideas and emotions that I cannot always express eloquently with words. Many of my pieces are rooted in self-reflection with themes that relate to one’s sense of self and place in the world. I often find myself getting lost in my art, much like I get lost in listening to music. My creativity is heavily inspired by music and the deep sense of connection and harmony it brings to our lives. I love to create pieces that reflect the beauty and rhythm of everyday life, whether it is balanced and peaceful or chaotic and messy. Each one is inspired by a song that is personal to me in some way, whether that inspiration be sonic or lyrical/thematic. Like music, visual art tells a story, and I hope my viewers find the melodic movement, color, and texture of my art to be visually appealing and memorable.
